Sunde Engineering provided a full set of civil engineering construction documents for Amira, a 186-unit, six-story senior living community on Carlson Parkway in Minnetonka, Minnesota — including site grading, drainage design, and utility coordination across an 8.9-acre parcel.
A key element of Sunde Engineering scope was the layout and grading design for Amira's two-acre outdoor amenity space, which was developed around a full slate of resident-approved features: a pool, outdoor bar, shuffleboard lanes, bocce ball courts, and patio seating.
Our grading design ensured effective stormwater drainage and long-term runoff management across the amenity area — delivering a space that performs well operationally and minimizes maintenance demands for the property owner.
